My dad, D. L. Brown, was a certified horologist for over 30 years.  People would send their precious antique and family heirloom clocks to him from all over the U.S. to be repaired.  My older brother, Del, took advantage of my father's experience and began repairing clocks as a young adult.  My dad always claimed that clock repair was an old man's job, so he wasn't surprised when my brother chose to join the military in hopes of a more exciting career.

After my dad's death in 2001, we closed the clock shop.  To our surprise, to this day we still get inquires from people needing their clocks repaired.  The true study of time keeping has become a dying art, and it has become more difficult to find someone who can actually repair clocks.  Many of the parts are unavailable and have to be hand made to restore these time keepers to working order.

Now that my brother is older -- he has decided to resume his career as a trained horologist.  His experience working with our dad for several years has given him the knowledge and expertise to restore your priceless time pieces to a proper working condition.

My dad always said, "There are clock people and there are not clock people."  If you are a clock person and desire to see and hear your clock as you once did -- contact my brother, Del, and make arrangements with him today.
